In Ternopil region, the court returned to state ownership of land worth UAH 143 million

The Economic Court of the Ternopil region decided to terminate the lease agreement with the Cherkasy limited liability company and return land plots with an area of more than 16 hectares worth UAH 143 million. This is reported by the Ternopil Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The claim was filed by the Kremenets district prosecutor's office.
Prosecutors found that the tenant did not fulfill the contractual obligations and, since April 2020, has not systematically paid rent for the use of the land plot in the vicinity of Shumsk for the construction and maintenance of a solar power plant. The court agreed with the arguments of the prosecutor's office.
