The Agrotrade Group is engaged in organic farming on 2.55 thousand hectares out of 70 thousand hectares of the general land bank. The group has been actively developing organic farming since 2015. For this area, land was allocated in the Kharkiv region and a separate division was created. After receiving the European Organic Standard certificate in 2017, the first harvest of organic products was harvested. The structural divisions of the agro group - production Khleborob, Ukrzernoprom-Shevchenkovo ​​and trading Agrotrade Export - and their assets are certified by Organic Standard in accordance with standards equivalent to EC-834/2007 and 889/2008 regulations. In addition, Agrotrade claims to be certified according to NOP USDA standards. In 2017, in an interview with Latifundist.com, the director of the agro-industrial department of the Agrotrade group, Viktor Kukharchuk, noted that mainly soybeans, pumpkin, lentils and flax are grown on the company's organic lands. Moreover, he clarified that the agro group plans to transfer up to 10% of the land bank to organics.
