The production cooperative "Like a bee", which is located in the village of Bolozhinov, Busk district, Lviv region, has begun manufacturing value-added products - dried berries. In particular, the assortment of the company includes dried raspberries, sea buckthorn, elderberry, alpine strawberries, apples, sloe, rhubarb, viburnum, wild rose and mountain ash.

According to the co-founder of the cooperative Oleg Bachinsky, the company plans to expand the range of still dried pumpkins, carrots and potatoes. Some products, in particular raspberries, alpine strawberries and elderberries, are grown independently by the cooperative, while others are bought from local producers.

“So far, we see the prospect in the drying of products,” said Oleg Bachinsky in an exclusive comment to Yagodnik. “Recently, about 5 new large enterprises for freezing have appeared in our region, and not a single one engaged in drying products”.

Equipment for drying products in the cooperative "Like a bee" is equipped with two drying chambers. The maximum capacity of the equipment is about 8 tons of fresh berries.

“We sell the main volume of dried products, mainly wholesale lots, in foreign markets, but we plan to enter the Ukrainian market as well. So far, only test batches have been made this year. Our main goal is for Ukrainians to be healthy, and dried berries, which can be used to make tea, are very useful, ”says Oleg Bachinsky, co-founder of the cooperative.
