A plant for freezing fruits and berries was launched in the Zhytomyr region
Alte Foods has built and commissioned a high-tech plant for freezing berries and fruits in the Zhytomyr region.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Berry Growing Association.
As noted, the enterprise was built in compliance with all environmental standards. In addition, the company has recently successfully passed the FSSC 22000 audit.
“Now the plant is operating successfully. It was built on time and started work at the height of the season. Now we are working hard and hard, but everything is working out for us: we have formed a team and are gaining experience. We are optimistic and satisfied with the results, because we believe in the industry's prospects in the global market, ”said Roman Anzin, CEO of Alte Foods.
The high-tech plant was commissioned on July 1, 2021, and built in six months in compliance with international environmental and sanitary standards. The production lines are equipped with fruit processing equipment from leading suppliers.
“To maximize the preservation of all the beneficial properties of berries during shock freezing, modern IQF technology and an advanced optical sorting system are used, which guarantees high product quality. In addition, the company has its own quality laboratory, which makes it possible to examine the products as accurately as possible and determine their quality and class,” the message says.
The IQF technology allows the product to retain its shape and organoleptic properties during freezing: shock freezing lasts a short time. This is what makes it possible to obtain products that freeze and undergo uniform processing from all sides, providing individual freezing of high quality and an attractive appearance of the product.
Reference. Alte Foods specializes in freezing berries grown in ecologically clean areas of Ukraine. The plant has a capacity of 4 thousand tons of products per year.
